How to change your font on Instagram
Instagram has no built-in font picker for your bio, name or captions. The workaround is Unicode: a standard that includes thousands of characters beyond the normal alphabet, including letters that look bold, italic, cursive or outlined. This generator swaps each letter of your text for its Unicode look-alike, so you can copy the result and paste it straight into Instagram.

Use fancy fonts without hurting your profile
- Keep searchable words plain. Instagram search treats 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝 letters as different characters from regular ones, so "𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡" in your name field may not match a search for "fitness coach".
- Think about accessibility. Screen readers may read styled letters one by one or skip them. Use them for a few words, not whole paragraphs.
- Check readability on mobile. Script and fraktur styles look great in a headline but are hard to read in long sentences.
- Watch the character count. Many styled letters are stored as two characters, so a styled bio fills the 150-character limit faster.
